Descrizione
Può raggiungere la lunghezza massima di 28 cm. È capace di saltare fuori dall'acqua e di planare per lunghe distanze sopra la superficie.
Diffusione
È un pesce marino oceanodromo. Si trova nell'Atlantico orientale: Guinea (10°23'N) a Baia dos Tigres, Angola. Non registrato altrove. Trovato in acque superficiali oceaniche o vicino alla costa.
